The CARE Program Manager oversees the strategic direction, planning, and day-to-day operations of CARE at Work programming. This includes partnerships with the SoCal Region Black Worker Organizing Hub, supporting the development of Black Worker Centers in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and San Diego. The role involves leading the UCLA Labor Studies Black Worker Organizing School-to-Movement Pathway, facilitating strategic participatory research, and managing communications for relevant events, activities, and publications.
The Program Manager builds and nurtures relationships with economic justice advocates and Black worker organizing movements at local, regional, and national levels, while also fostering connections with key stakeholders, nonprofits, foundations, and community organizations.
