Featuring: Student Activists & Leaders from LACCD and the Opportunity4All Campaign

Panel will feature students from AFT1521’s Student Internship Program that were part of a summer fellowship with the Nonviolence Education Project. Their summer activities included learning and engaging with immigrant youth mentors on a research project looking into the experiences of undocumented students. The result of the fellowship is a cohort of students ready to engage at the LACCD as leaders motivated to create social change and a forthcoming report release.
