George Chacon
George Chacon (he/him) is the deputy director of the Dream Resource Center (DRC), where he manages the operations, coordinates timelines, and ensure implementation of DRC programs. He is also supporting the Los Angeles County High Road Training Partnership Fund by facilitating “Community of Practice” spaces for grantees to implement strategies and support one another. He earned his bachelor’s degree in international development studies from UCLA in 2010, along with a minor in education studies. He has over 10 years of experience in leadership development and program management, with a focus on racial justice and undocumented youth movements. Before this role, George was a project director for SPACE, a college readiness program at UCLA, and he was a Health Equity Fellow with The Greenlining Institute, a nonprofit focused on economic opportunity for people of color.
