Sara Roschdi

Sara Roschdi (she/her) is the program manager for the Global Solidarity project, which focuses on building international worker solidarity and supporting labor movements across borders. As program manager, Sara leverages her extensive experience in the labor movement and transnational solidarity efforts.

Raised in a union household, Sara has upheld this tradition through her involvement with worker centers, unions, and the LA Federation of Labor. Her experience in the Los Angeles labor movement informs her efforts in building cross-border solidarity with Mexican labor movements. Sara’s background also includes significant work in Latin American solidarity. As an organizer with the Chiapas Support Committee, she facilitated delegations and solidarity accompaniment across Latin America, including Honduras, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Mexico.

Guided by principles of worker rights, social justice, and solidarity, Sara brings her commitment to the Global Solidarity project. She received her BA in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Pitzer College and her Master’s in Latin American Studies from UCLA.
