Vivian Nguyen

Vivian (she/her) is the Associate Director of Development at the UCLA Labor Center. She is a first-generation Vietnamese American, born and raised in Orange County. Having initially worked in the arts sector in Orange and Los Angeles counties, she transitioned to non-profit work and fundraising over the past couple of years. Most recently, she was a development associate at the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE), where she worked with unions, community organizers, and provided fundraising support for recent worker and environmental justice campaigns. Vivian is a passionate fundraiser and a dedicated advocate for social justice, diversity, and racial equity. She graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in French Literature and earned her M.A. in Arts and Cultural Management at IESA Arts & Culture in Paris, France.
