Jasmine Garcia Rodriguez

Jasmine Garcia Rodriguez (she/her/ella) is the Events and Operations Specialist with the UCLA Labor Center. Her responsibilities include providing administrative support for all project teams at the Labor Center and assisting directly with the operations of the Nationally-recognized Dream Summer Fellowship and the State-wide Labor Summer Fellowship for the UCLA Labor Center’s Dream Resource Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Labor Studies from UCLA in 2023. As an alumna with the department, she organized as a Labor Summer Fellow in 2023 with the American Federation of Teachers 1521, the union representing over 4,000 full-time and adjunct faculty working in the nine community colleges within the Los Angeles area. Prior to her role at UCLA, she was a UCLA California College Corps Fellow, a selective undergraduate fellowship program under the Governor of California’s Office, partnered with select colleges in California focusing priority areas such as K-12 educational support, Climate Change, and Food Insecurity.
