Tia Koonse is the Legal and Policy Research Manager at the UCLA Labor Center. Tia supports the UCLA Labor Center’s ReWork: The Worker Justice Institute. She has 15+ years of legal and policy research in employment protections in low-wage industries as well as anti -discrimination and -retaliation regimes. Tia data, policy analysis, and budget recommendations to a wide range of nonprofits, government agencies, and legislative bodies to improve working conditions across the state.
