The UCLA Labor Center invites applicants for a Senior Research Analyst position to support and lead evaluation projects within the POWER in Workforce Development team. This position will play a key role in advancing systemic change in California’s public workforce system by managing and conducting evaluations that center the experiences of historically marginalized communities and promote high-road workforce development approaches focused on worker voice, job quality, and equity.
The Senior Research Analyst will lead and participate in all aspects of evaluation projects, including evaluation design, methodology and instrument development, data collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination of findings. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to strengthen the Labor Center’s evaluation capacity through staff training, external funding, and strategic partnerships.
The Senior Research Analyst will also review and synthesize professional literature and best practices related to workforce development and equitable evaluation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to culturally responsive and equity-centered evaluation approaches, along with the skills to manage complex projects.
